Alex served as the Managing Director of Mandiri Bank in the Singapore office at Malibu Capital, Middle Eastern Fund Advisor for UOB Singapore, was a member of several nonprofit boards, including the National Health Institute of Singapore, Expat Radio, the International Hospital, The Singapore American Dance Theater, the Harvard University Medical Fund, the Maraya for the Performing Arts. He has syndicated four loan structures for more than $12 billion for the chain pharmacy in Singapore. Alex was the Director of a new Fund of $300 billion funded by National Bank of Abu Dhabi, CFO of the Airport of Ajman, and Special auditor for Abu Dhabi National Bank including Abu Dhabi Airport. He funded over 30 companies and served the King of Spain, Juan Carlos I for his real estate company, White Lake, which was an arm of Ryat Corporation.

Alex was named the Vice President of Washington Mutual in 1996 where he oversaw the development and sales of bank instrument and business development, contract negotiations and order fulfillment. Alex began his career in 1987 with IBM when he managed a leading IBM-owned computer distributor with $379 million in annual sales.

Alex is a renowned global expert on International syndicated finances and an Investment Advisor to Sustainable Capital S.A. and the Sustainable Resources Fund. As a charismatic speaker, Alex speaks on investment impact and economy at various business forums, business clubs and for the press in Asia, USA and Europe.

Alex is a mentor at San Pedro PortTech, Asia Students Associates at UCLA and SCU. He coaches and mentors entrepreneurs and undergraduates and provides tools and insight for them to succeed in their enterprises.

Alex received his Engineering Degree and MBA from the University of Boston.

David Weild
Father of JOBS Act

David Weild is Founder, Chairman and CEO of Weild & Co. He is a noted expert on capital markets and capital formation who has testified before the U.S. Congress at the House Subcommittee on Capital Markets and Government Sponsored Enterprises, the SEC, and spoken in front of the 34-member nations and the European Commission for the Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the G-20. He is regarded by many as the ‘Father of the JOBS Act,’ considered to be the most important pro-capital formation legislation in a generation. The studies that he co-authored were the first to identify and characterize the long-term structural decline in the IPO and listed company markets. He contributed to the drafting of much of the legislation including specific provisions of Reg. A+ which, before it was rolled into the JOBS Act was known as HR 1070.

From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Weild served as Vice Chairman of The NASDAQ Stock Market in charge of the Corporate Client Division with line responsibility for NASDAQ’s 4,000 listed companies. He created NASDAQ’s Market Intelligence DeskSM, Corporate Services NetworkSM and dual listings strategy which ultimately resulted in listing Charles Schwab and Hewlett Packard. While at NASDAQ, Mr. Weild had the privilege of working with such luminaries as Howard Schultz (Starbucks), Tom Stemberg (Staples), Craig Barrett (Intel), Michael Dell (Dell Computer), Steve Jobs (Apple, Pixar, NeXT Computer) and others. He also had the privilege of working with NASDAQ senior management, the SEC, the U.S. Treasury and the U.S. Congress to reopen the U.S. stock markets in the aftermath of 9/11, and had the honor of leading his team to work with NASDAQ listed companies to implement share repurchase programs as a safety net to help investor confidence when markets reopened.

Mr. Weild also headed equity capital markets and corporate finance at a top-ten underwriter of IPOs and follow-on equity offerings. During the course of his career, he has participated in managing more than 1,000 public equity offering transactions.

Mr. Weild holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business and a B.A. degree from Wesleyan University. He has studied on exchange at The Sorbonne, Ecole des Haute Etudes Commerciales, and The Stockholm School of Economics. Mr. Weild is former Treasurer of The Bond Club of New York. He currently holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 licenses.

Arthur Lipper
World Renowned Economist

Arthur Lipper is acknowledged worldwide as an innovator in the field of financial services. He pioneered breakthroughs in the fields of mutual fund analysis and stock index futures.

Mr. Lipper formed two New York Stock Exchange member firms, Arthur Lipper Corporation and New York & Foreign Securities, and served both as Chairman. These firms specialized in serving institutional investors, and their services included the creation of mutual fund investment performance analysis. The firms were members of the major U.S. securities exchanges, and a number of commodity futures exchanges, and transacted hundreds of millions of dollars of business.

Mr. Lipper also served on the Securities Industry Association Education Committee.

In 1969, Arthur Lipper Corporation filed the first prospectus for a Stock Index Fund and subsequently, through its subsidiary, Forward Contract Exchange Company in Amsterdam, the company conceived and initiated trading Stock Index Futures. The firm also created a stock loan department to serve its institutional clients, unique for its time. The company had offices in New York, London, Washington, Amsterdam, Geneva, Buenos Aires, Singapore and Tokyo, and was actively involved in Australia.

Arthur Lipper Corporation began investing in privately owned companies, including Venture Magazine, where Mr. Lipper served as Editor-in-Chief. He has lectured at many prominent universities, including Harvard, Yale, Stanford and Georgetown, and has written books on investing in privately owned companies, entrepreneurship and the management of early stage companies. His books include “Investing in Private Companies,” Thriving Up and Down the Free Market Food Chain,” “The Guide for Investing Angels,” and “The Larry and Barry Guide to Entrepreneurial Wisdom.”

Arthur began his business career in the art and auction business in New York, as an antiquities dealer specializing in oriental art. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, he started his Wall Street career in 1954. Privately, Mr. Lipper guides the Lipper Foundation, focused on the special needs of gifted and talented children.

Lawrence Rufrano
SEC Regulation A+

Lawrence Rufrano Regulatory professional experience includes eight years of service at the Federal Reserve Board. The focus included participating in the development of responses to the 2008 Financial Crisis, writing regulations under the Dodd Frank Act and collaborating with other regulatory agencies in redesigning the regulatory framework for the mortgage industry.

Regularly interacted with the Board of Governors at the Federal Reserve during the 2008 Financial Crisis to offer insights into the dynamics of the mortgage backed securities and other structured finance markets. Assisted the US Treasury along with other government agencies, investors and lenders in designing and implementing the Making Home Affordable Program to help millions of homeowners save their homes from foreclosure.

Developed an appreciation of the wide range of viewpoints among bank executives, investors, Congressional staff, White House staff, U.S. Department of the Treasury staff, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau staff, SEC staff, along with special interest groups in developing and finalizing bank regulations under the Dodd-Frank Act.

FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD, Washington, D.C. 2007-2014 Senior Policy Analyst, Credit Markets and Liquidity Risk Group Regular responsibilities outside of the responsibilities associated with the 2008 Financial Crisis included the development of banking regulations to improve safety and soundness. Focus was on a wide range of topics including regulatory accounting, governance, enterprise risk management, parts of the Volcker Rule, Edge Act corporations, mortgages and securitizations. Frequently discussed economic and policy issues surrounding writing new banking regulations with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board. As a result, learned the risks, benefits and limitations of banking regulators and the importance of the private sector in creating and maintaining its own standards for a safety and soundness.

Andy Orgel

Andy Orgel is a highly regarded media and entertainment executive and thought leader, known for his deep start-up experience, creation of disruptive, global content brands, building best-in-class teams and scaling businesses through on- and off-line marketing and distribution channels. He possesses a keen understanding of the relationship of technology and consumer behavior. And, he is a pioneer and architect of interactive television, digital media and the evolving, multi-screen universe.

Andy gained experience as an entrepreneur and start-up executive at the inception of MTV, A&E, Nickelodeon, The Movie Channel, US West Interactive Video Enterprises, CBS FM National Advertising Sales and the first interactive TV network, “The Box,” a NASDAQ company (bought by MTV Networks). He served as VP, Sales & Marketing, MTV, Nickelodeon and The Movie Channel; VP, Marketing & Sales, and then Senior VP, Programming & Production at A&E; CEO of “The Box;” and President of Wisdom Media, in the personal and global sustainability sector. He co-created the first 3 digital TV networks and the first technology-media crossover team in the evolution of digital media with telecom giant U S West. He was labeled by Success Magazine as an “MTV Mastermind” and the man who “made TV interactive,” and is well known for innovation and creativity with building well-known, high profile content. He is currently Chairman & CEO of QOL Media, Inc., an emerging, global media company in the “integrated quality of life” category, in the areas personal and global sustainability, health and wellness, global citizenship and social responsibility. He is a Co-Founder of G Media Partners, where, among other businesses, he co-created “GlobalShift TV,” a digital channel already on Roku, XBOX360, LG and Samsung. And, he is a Partner in Creative Expansion, a consulting company that helps businesses to be more corporately responsible.

He created “Media for Social Responsibility,” a course that deep dives into the areas where journalism does a less-than-perfect job of covering issues like Environmental Sustainability, The Global Food Crisis, Coverage of Natural Disasters, Media and Body Image, Politics and Comedy and Global Health & Wellness; along with China’s Renmin University, China West Normal University, Seoul’s Hanyang University and the University of Liberia, Monrovia. My name is Dr. Charlyn Belluzzo. I am internationally recognized as a global health expert in both business and non-profit sectors.

I have expertise in population wellness, medical research, regulatory affairs, strategic planning, fiscal oversight, partnership development, fundraising, marketing and operational management.

My professional passion has been to promote human health and wellness, strengthen communities, generate economic prosperity and enrich the lives of the world’s most vulnerable.

I hold doctorate degrees of public health and tropical medicine (ScMD) and preventative health (PhD), master degree of business administration (MBA), and completed post-graduate training and a medical fellowship in HIV/AIDS research; managing international clinical trials and authoring new drug applications for regulatory drug approval.

I am an experienced investor and entrepreneur, holding ownership interests in several international health and medical businesses which are based in London UK, Auckland NZ, San Francisco USA, and Lund, Sweden.

As an investor, I prefer to take an active role in companies that I hold interest, participating in aspects of the business where my expertise is valuable, as well as serving on the Board of Directors. I understand and enjoy the process of starting new enterprises and building new divisions in existing companies. Shawn Mojtahedian, Ph.D
Healthcare/Bio Science

Dr. Mojtahedian received his doctorate from the University of Southern California (USC) under the tutelage of Richard F. Thompson, Ph.D. Dr. Thompson is an internationally renowned senior neuroscientist who has achieved numerous honors and awards in delineating the fundamental mechanisms underlying the neuronal substrates of learning and memory.

Before his doctoral training, Dr. Mojtahedian also spent several years training in the laboratory of Arnold B. Scheibel, M.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Scheibel is a highly distinguished world-renowned neuroscientist with over 50 years of teaching and research experience, and is presently one of the highest ranking professors at UCLA. His research is focused on substrates of consciousness and higher cognitive functions, aging, and central nervous system (CNS) disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and schizophrenia.

During this time, Dr. Mojtahedian also gained very valuable industry experience as a Senior Analyst at a leading molecular diagnostics company in West Los Angeles, CA called National Genetics Institute (NGI), which provides advanced genetic testing services for blood screening, medical testing, and clinical research. NGI was subsequently acquired by Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp).

Dr. Mojtahedian received his B.Sc. degree in Biology, with Honors in Major and College Honors, from UCLA and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from USC.

Robert Steven Kramarz

With this background in impact investing Rob was selected to be a General Partner of the Sustainable Impact Funds, including the Water Impact Fund, and is an advisor to the Water Impact Alliance. Rob is also a partner with Vantera Partners, a merchant bank that deals mainly with turnarounds, an advisor to Pacific Royalties, which educates on revenue royalties, and Blue Moon Consortium, which assists early stage companies to raise capital. Rob works tirelessly to increase the amount of private funding available for innovation, science and impact investments.

Prior to this work in impact investing, Rob worked 30 years in IT executive management, has been board member of two non-profits, has long experience as a leadership trainer and was a member of Tech Coast Angels — evaluating over 600 companies during his tenure. Among many technical achievements, he wrote the original papers on software RAID and co-designed the first server mirroring software. He has a degree in psychology (focus on organization development) and undergraduate work at Cal Tech in physics and environmental studies.

He enjoys a humble round of golf, followed by a fine meal and a good movie, and is now working to complete his first novel.

Karen provided leadership to the Right Management Consulting in Malaysia & Indonesia in 2013 to 2014, and Outsourcing and Finance & Commercial Division of Fortune 100 in Asia Pacific since 1999.

Karen served as the Director of Commercial of Manpower which included Right Management Consulting, Outsourcing, Finance and Commercial, Human Resource, technology support for Southeast Asia. In her capacity she was in charge of over 125 offices of Manpower in 4 countries. Under Karen’s leadership Manpower grew from 3 offices to 125 and from a shortfall to over millions of surplus.

During her experience in Singapore and other Asian countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea, Karen joined the senior Executive team to set goals of accelerating hyper growth to achieve market expansions, new offices , revenue streams, mergers and acquisitions.
